Responsibilities
Design, develop, document, and deploy new or enhanced features for backend services. Participate in team elaboration and estimation of user stories. Build frequent, small releases to maintain team momentum. Collaborate closely with other engineers in cross‑functional feature teams. Maintain operational responsibility for the services owned by your team. Build, optimize, and operate Continuous Deployment pipelines.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience of at least 5 years in a similar capacity. Proven JAVA programming experience, including Spring Boot. Fluent in writing JAVA code. Experience with Kafka or a similar platform. Familiarity with Scala and Spark. Integration experience with services like PostgreSQL, Redis, or S3. Understanding of engineering practices such as continuous delivery, clean code, and automated testing. Experience working in Agile development and/or DevOps teams. Proficiency in using GitHub/GitLab for source control. Knowledge of Test Driven Development tools and frameworks. Familiarity with Big Data technologies. Experience with Public Cloud services, such as AWS.
