Unity Surgery in Nottingham is seeking a Salaried GP to join our growing team. We value enthusiasm, good clinical judgement, and a positive approach to patient care. This role is suitable for early career GPs or those with many years of experience.
Location: NottinghamHours: 4 sessions per week – Monday and Friday only.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, evidence‑based care to a diverse patient community.
- Provide consultations via telephone, online and face‑to‑face appointments.
- Support practice priorities such as QOF, Enhanced Services and local health initiatives.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and continuous learning sessions.
- Maintain clear, accurate, up‑to‑date clinical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members (ACPs, Practice Nurses, HCAs, PCN staff).
- Supervise and teach medical students and GP registrars as part of our teaching practice.
- Manage long‑term conditions and prescribe in line with local and national guidance.
- Complete administrative tasks (referrals, repeat prescriptions, etc.) promptly.
- Participate in telephone triage, duty doctor rotas and other clinical governance activities.
- Support QOF requirements and record information accurately.
- Offer health promotion advice when appropriate.
- Attend and contribute to practice meetings, audits, training and continuous professional development.
- Uphold practice protocols, policies and strategic aims to foster teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Full GMC registration.
- Inclusion on the NHS England performers list.
- MRCGP or equivalent qualification.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Experience working with SystmOne (clinical system).
