Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal
Quarrington Permanent | Full-time (part-time considered) 40 hours over 4 days | 1:4 Saturdays (8:30–14:30)
The Vet Office is supporting the recruitment of an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon for a well-established, purpose-built practice in Lincolnshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, forward-thinking practice with a strong clinical caseload, modern facilities, and a clear vision for future growth, including the development of a regional 24-hour centre.
The Practice
The successful candidate will join a highly experienced veterinary and nursing team in a modern, purpose-built practice featuring:
- Five consulting rooms
- Separate dog and cat wards
- Fully equipped operating theatres
- In-house laboratory, ECG, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and dental equipment
The practice handles a busy and varied caseload and is actively involved in training and supporting both veterinary nurses and vets through structured graduate and development programmes.
The Role
This is a permanent, full-time role, although part-time applications are welcome and flexibility can be discussed.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality clinical care in consultations and surgery
- Managing a varied small animal caseload to a high clinical standard
- Developing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients
- Working closely with a supportive, multidisciplinary team
- Sharing clinical knowledge and contributing to the development of colleagues

Qualified MRCVS
Passionate about clinical excellence and client care
Confident working within a busy practice environment
Experienced vets looking to lead, mentor, and inspire are particularly encouraged to apply
