Job Details
The Graduate Engineer – Temporary Works role in Manchester offers a full‑time position with a salary between £29,000 and £31,000 per annum. You will join RGB Network’s design teams focusing on shoring, below‑ground propping, and above‑ground structures. This position suits a civil engineering graduate or master’s degree holder with an interest in geotechnical engineering, pile design, site investigation interpretation, and deep excavation support.
Responsibilities
- Bespoke steelwork designs and connections for major projects, such as deep basement propping.
- Combining geotechnics with structural analysis and design.
- Working on complex assignments within a specialist consultancy.
Qualifications
- Degree or masters in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Interest in geo‑technical engineering, including pile design, site investigation interpretation (SI Interpretation), and deep excavation support.
- Ideally some experience within the engineering industry after leaving university; exceptional recent graduates will also be considered.
Training & Development
- Full training provided.
- Industry leading chartership training scheme to achieve chartered status as soon as possible.
