Our Helpdesk Engineers are essential to keeping our IT services running smoothly for customers who rely on them every day. You will be one of the first points of contact when users need help, making a real difference by resolving issues, restoring access and keeping people productive. It is also a key learning role. The experience you gain here will build strong foundations in IT support, customer service and modern Microsoft technologies, giving you skills that are highly valuable and transferable as you progress your career.
Responsibilities
- Handle IT service requests and incidents and support users with day to day issues.
- Install software and set up access, licences and user accounts.
- Order and track IT equipment and keep asset records up to date.
- Support Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory and Intune.
- Produce simple reports and keep systems and records accurate.
- Work with the wider team to deliver a positive and reliable support experience.
Qualifications
- Interest in IT and technology, whether from study, training, hobbies or early work experience.
- Some basic awareness of IT support or computer systems, with a desire to learn more.
- A friendly and helpful approach when supporting users.
- Good communication skills and confidence to ask questions when unsure.
- The ability to stay organised and manage simple tasks day to day.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn as part of a team.

Salary: £25,948.96 per annum. 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 after four years. Birthday day off. One concessionary day during the Christmas period. Pension scheme with 4% employer contribution. Life assurance cover. Hybrid working.
