Join our Project and Programme Management team!

The Programme and Project Management team sits within Softcat’s Services – Delivery function and engages in customer facing programmes and projects. You will be working closely with all roles within the team, as well as with Professional Services, Solutions Design, Resource Desk and Account Management.

As part of a growing team, you will have plenty of opportunity to contribute to improvements in process and efficiency, through innovation, knowledge and idea sharing.

As a Project Management Officer – Analyst, you will be working with a Programme and Project Management Team to build a first class PMO (Project Management Office) operation to provide the governance and support around project delivery, ensuring that our existing processes are carried out with a mechanism for continual improvement.

You will be ensuring that Project and Programme reporting is produced in a timely manner, governance is applied, whilst sharing best practice regarding tools and procedures. You will build and control supporting templates and documentation and support projects in active risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on the quality of PPM (Programme and Project Management) services to internal and external customers
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a professional manner
  • Manage and be responsible for internal gate reviews
  • Set up and provide detailed guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools, templates, and techniques
  • Monitor PPM team project governance and data storage
  • Monitor quality of data for all team members
  • Attend and manage internal audits
