Role

As a key member of the People Services Support team, you will provide first‑line HR support to employees, candidates and external stakeholders through telephone, email, HR ticketing system and face‑to‑face enquiries. You will deliver excellent customer service, taking ownership of queries and resolving issues efficiently while ensuring a positive customer experience.

The role operates on a rota agreed and managed by the Team Leader to ensure on‑campus service delivery. Approximately 80% of the role will be campus based.

Provide administrative support across the wider team, maintaining HR records, supporting key processes and contributing to continuous improvement of procedures, guidance and internal resources.

Resolve a wide range of queries efficiently, maintaining accurate records, following established processes and escalating complex cases.

Conduct in‑person appointments and related administration for activities such as DBS checks, Right to Work verification, personal details updates and other processes.

Qualifications and Experience

You will have experience working in a busy administrative environment, ideally supporting employee lifecycle processes. You will be able to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, provide clear guidance in line with policy, and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, attention to detail and confidentiality are essential. You will be a collaborative team player with a commitment to equality, fairness and continuous improvement.
