Our Horticulture Customer Advisors play an essential role in delivering customer experience across our stores – driving sales, promoting customer loyalty, providing excellent plant advice and maintaining department standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customer experience across stores, driving sales, promoting customer loyalty, providing excellent plant advice, and maintaining department standards.
- Deliver inspirational gardening standards through excellent service.
- Drive sales through customer interactions, promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership.
- Provide a helping hand with customer queries through high‑quality product knowledge covering indoor and outdoor plants, machinery and core gardening.
- Work with the team to ensure the department is kept to a high standard.
- Support shopfloor and other store areas as required – stock handling, cash handling, till work, take‑to‑car deliveries, stock control routines and restaurant service.
- Show passion for delivering a great customer experience, serving everyone with a smile.
Qualifications
- Experience in a customer‑facing role and a passion for plants.
- Ability to lift heavy objects to support store projects.
- Strong teamwork, relationship building, positive attitude and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn new skills and gain new experiences.
- Demonstration of Dobbies values – one team, continuous improvement and positivity.
