Job Overview

Capital City College, one of London’s leading Further Education providers, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager – Food and Beverage Service. In this full‑time, permanent role, the successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership for the College’s commercial hospitality provision at Westminster, including the Vincent Rooms, Escoffier Restaurant and Terrace.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality, industry‑standard food and beverage operations, ensuring strong commercial performance and an excellent customer experience.
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations across all venues.
  • Drive income generation and improve operational efficiency, supporting the growth of commercial hospitality provision across the College.
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams so that commercial activity supports high‑quality teaching and learning.
  • Line‑manage staff, supporting their professional growth and contributing to the overall success of the department.

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Confidence in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring this is mirrored across the college.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable.
