Production Planner/Scheduler

Job Overview

Weatherford has a great opportunity for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join the team in Altens, Aberdeen. The Planner/Scheduler will prepare production schedules and establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates.

Responsibilities

• Date manage new orders as per procedure.
• Workshop scheduling for load and capacity production plans.
• Revise pick date, ship date and ship date as per production meetings.
• Raise work order, communicate with production, workshop, buyers and machine shop to ensure all necessary work is completed.
• Identify key list of orders and chase up with buyers and planners daily.
• Communicate with vendors for key purchase order items.
• Any other tasks requested by the planning supervisor/manager or the manufacturing manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1‑3 years planning/scheduling experience in an MRP‑driven manufacturing environment.
• College degree in business or a technical discipline.
• Strong organization and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work as part of cross‑functional teams.
• Good understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with all departments to ensure positive results.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
