Site Agent

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join our team delivering clean water mains renewal projects. You will oversee site teams, manage resources, and work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality. We are proud to have been appointed to a new 8-year framework with Thames Water, the UK’s largest water and wastewater services provider.

Responsibilities

• Lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver works safely and to specification.
• Manage programme, resources, budgets, and site logistics, including temporary works and lifting operations.
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, environmental and quality plans, and company policies.
• Act as the first escalation point for site issues and support the Project Manager in delivering objectives.
• Coach, mentor, and develop your team, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and operational teams to maintain progress and minimise disruption.

Qualifications

• Proven experience on clean water mains renewal projects, managing teams and site delivery.
• Technical confidence with Thames Water standards, temporary works, service avoidance, and CDM regulations.
• SMSTS certification.
• Clean UK manual driving licence.
• Streetworks Supervisor (NRSWA).
• Water Hygiene and First Aid qualifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisation skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
