We’re looking for a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in North Bristol from September 2026. This full‑time, long‑term role involves supporting a Year 3 pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them access learning in the classroom and make the most of their alternative provision.
This is an unqualified role, making it ideal for candidates with experience in schools, care, youth work or supporting children with additional needs.

The role
You will:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil
- Support learning in class and within alternative provision
- Encourage positive relationships and emotional regulation
- Help build confidence, independence and engagement
- Work closely with teachers, families and the SEND team
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children or young people
- Is patient, resilient and positive
- Can build strong relationships and maintain routines
- Has SEND or behaviour support experience (desirable)
