Key Responsibilities
- Design integrated research approaches by interpreting client briefs to develop sharp, focused research plans; select and blend the right mix of quantitative and qualitative methodologies to build a holistic understanding of the consumer.
- Anticipate research challenges during design phases and pivot methods to address emerging needs (e.g., adjusting tasks for participant engagement).
- Plan and lead the analysis, weaving together data from various sources to uncover the core “why” behind the “what”.
- Synthesize fragmented data sources into a unified “current state” picture, identifying key patterns, need‑to‑know insights, gaps and priorities.
- Bridge raw data to strategic storytelling by structuring findings into coherent, client‑ready outputs with clear implications.
- Develop clear, visually engaging reports that connect present insights with visionary outcomes for a forward‑looking perspective.
- Use AI and proprietary technology to enhance efficiency, connect different data types and add strategic depth to your analysis.
Client Partnership & Strategic Support
- Act as a proactive and strategic partner for clients, managing timelines and ensuring deliverables meet their business needs.
- Add value by applying knowledge of the client’s business, competitive landscape and marketing fundamentals to synthesize a full‑picture perspective.
- Co‑create with seniors and clients in real‑time (e.g., AI‑assisted brainstorming sessions) rather than working in silos.
- Support senior team members in client workshops and brainstorms, turning hybrid insights into actionable tools, playbooks and strategies.
Commercial & Operational Acumen
- Drive commercial growth by contributing to proposal writing and identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Efficiently manage multiple projects with diverse methodologies, coordinating with the team to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and team‑oriented approach, actively learning from senior colleagues while staying at the forefront of the insight sector.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Advanced knowledge in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, psychology, business, economics), typically developed through a Master’s degree or comparable professional experience.
- Proven experience (around 5 years) in market research, data insights or analytics, with a background in an agency environment considered an asset.
- Strategic Thinking: Connect marketing insights to broader organizational goals and shape thinking.
- Thought Leadership: Use expertise and vision to drive change and influence.
- Strategic Business Acumen: Understand industry trends, competitive landscapes and organizational context to align research efforts within our strategy.
- Influential Communication: Present complex findings persuasively to executives and clients.
- Research Innovation: Identify innovation opportunities, develop, optimize and take concepts to market.
- Technical AI Skills: Use the Human8 canvas with AI prompts to extract insights, run workshops and assist in analysis and information structuring.
