Job Overview
The Purchasing Manager & Commercial Manager is responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, and purchasing activities to ensure the organization obtains high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. This role focuses on cost optimization, risk management, and supply continuity.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Lead RFQs/RFPs, contract negotiations, and pricing agreements.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, operations, supply chain).
- Track procurement KPIs and prepare reports.
- Sourcing cost saving.
- Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure continuity.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Analytical and cost management abilities.
- Supplier relationship management.
- Knowledge of procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP ERP).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Understanding of supply chain processes and risk management.
- Data Centre/GPU/Software Storage knowledge (nice to have).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are a plus.
- Typically 5-10 years in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Experience in strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations.
