Renal Post Transplant Clinic Sister

Looking after Renal post transplant patients, monitoring their bloods, infection markers, medications.

Working closely with the Clinic Manager to ensure mandatory training is up to date and PDRs are completed in a timely manner.

General running of the clinics in the absence of the Manager and coordination of staff and patient flow to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Care for Renal Post Transplant patients, monitoring bloods, infection status, and medications.
• Manage patient wounds, coordinating with Renal surgeons.
• Operate the Post transplant clinic.
• Transfer patients back to referring units.
• Handle patient phone calls and email enquiries.
• Assist with mandatory training and PDRs.
• Maintain clinic operations when the Manager is absent.
• Coordinate staff and patient scheduling for smooth clinic flow.
