Join Asymmetric Security as a Founding Engineer to build AI systems defining the future of cyberdefense. You will scale a production cloud platform, develop sophisticated agentic AI for automated investigations, and make critical architectural decisions. This 0‑to‑1 role involves shipping across the full stack while hardening infrastructure for enterprise‑scale security operations.

What You Will Do

• Develop and deploy agentic AI systems using LangChain and RAG to automate complex, multi-step digital forensics and incident response investigations.
• Ship end-to-end features across a modern stack including FastAPI, React, and DuckDB while managing multi-tenant cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Design and implement rigorous evaluation frameworks to measure AI performance against real-world cyber incidents and harden production-scale security infrastructure.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven track record of shipping and operating production software with strong Python backend skills in asynchronous patterns, APIs, and task pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience deploying LLMs in production environments and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and data-intensive workloads.
• A proactive 0‑to‑1 builder who thrives in ambiguity and has experience leading technical initiatives or founding side projects.
