Salary: £130,000 – 143,000 per year
Requirements
- Solid background in the Retail, E-Commerce, or Grocery sector.
- Proven experience as a Test Lead, QA Lead, or QA Manager in fast-paced Agile environments.
- Hands‑on automation skills using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Experience testing complex workflows such as shopping baskets, order management systems, or fulfilment.
- Strong proficiency in Jira and Zephyr for test management and defect tracking.
- Track record of navigating large‑scale business migrations and third‑party system integrations.
Responsibilities
- Own the QA strategy for a large‑scale digital transformation and application lifecycle modernization project.
- Drive the automation strategy for a modern testing framework to improve delivery speed and coverage.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of quality engineers.
- Design robust testing strategies across digital storefronts, secure payment paths, warehouse logistics, and real‑time order tracking.
- Act as the technical QA subject matter expert and embed shift‑left testing practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Translate testing metrics into actionable insights for senior leadership.
