Principal Engineer

Here at Anson McCade we are working with a market leading AI EdTech client who require a Principal AI Engineer to help build the next generation of AI-powered learning products.

Reporting directly to the founding team, you’ll play a key role in defining both the product vision and technical strategy. This is a highly hands‑on leadership role for someone who has successfully built and scaled production AI systems and enjoys operating with significant ownership.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience building and shipping AI/ML products to production.
• Track record delivering customer-facing AI products at scale.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and builder mentality.
• Experience leading technical direction across complex AI initiatives.
• Product mindset with the ability to influence what gets built, not just how it’s built.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with minimal product management overhead.
