This role sitswithinUKI CTOPlatforms,partnering with teams across the organisation to modernise andevolve the technology platforms that power Sky’s Home Service andSupply Chain operations. Working at the heart of Sky’sfulfilmentecosystem, you’ll help shapecorecapabilities that enable the end-to-end delivery ofproducts and services,bringingproducts likeSky GlassandSky Stream, Sky Mobile, Sky Broadband and Sky Protectinto millions ofcustomerhomes across the UK andIreland.

What you’ll do

  • Breakdown complexproblems through featureanalysis. 

  • Lead on technicalanalysis; breaking down complex features into development readyuser stories. 

  • Write clear and detailedtechnical features and stories with testable acceptance criteriaand measurable benefits.  

  • Maintaina prioritised data driven backlog of features andstories through refinements,planningandretrospectives. 

  • Read and interprettechnical documentation, including system specifications andarchitecture diagrams, and use these to guidedecisions.  

  • Build a strongunderstanding of how our systems work, how software isdeveloped,testedand released.  

  • Contribute to agileceremonies and support good practice across the team, using yourknowledge of Agile, Scrum and theSky’s Scaled AgileFramework  

  • Alongside productdelivery, you will also look for opportunities to improve existingsystems. This may be performance, reliability, security, orsimplifying processes to help the team work moreeffectively.  

  • Have astrongpreviousexperience in a similar Technical Analyst or ProductOwner role. 

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in aProduct Owner, Business Analyst or similar role, working closelywith software engineering teams in an agileenvironment.

  • Strong skills in leadingand facilitating technical discussions, shaping solutions andbreaking down complex problems into clearly articulated backlogitems with well-defined acceptancecriteria.

  • Strong communicationskills, with the ability to explain complex issues to bothtechnical and non-technical stakeholders and ask the rightquestions at the righttime.

  • Experience supportingand leading agile ceremonies, helping teams adopt effective agilepractices and ways ofworking.

  • A proactive approach toidentifying opportunities for improvement across the products,platforms and processes yousupport.

  • You will be comfortableusing tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, Postman and SQLas part of your everydaywork.
