Clinical Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Support Worker to provide an active role and assist the Paediatric Service. The role will be based at Staffordshire Children’s Hospital at Royal Stoke within our Paediatric Wards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team, label and send off specimens, and support patient transport to the ward.
• Provide assistance with patient care as required.
• Offer support across a wide range of service functions, working flexible and variable hours on a week‑by‑week basis within agreed limits.
• Take height and weight measurements for children and young people.
• Prepare and clean ward areas for new patients being admitted.
