Position Overview

As an Assistant Designer for Per Una, you’ll play a key role in bringing this distinctive vision to life across multiple product categories. Working closely with the Design team, you’ll help create commercially successful ranges that are trend‑led, customer‑focused, and true to the Per Una brand identity.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspirational and competitor comp shopping, making recommendations for your ranges to ensure continuous evolution and market leadership.
  • Support the design team with the coordination of day‑to‑day activities and proactively manage tasks and priorities.
  • Collaborate with designers and wider teams to meet critical‑path deadlines and deliver the right designs at the right time.
  • Create digital trend presentations and CADs using Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and AI tools to accurately represent products for range reviews, while maintaining high standards of PLM tech packs.
  • Support the briefing of trends and delivery of design briefs to indirect suppliers and global sourcing offices when required.
  • Create design briefs, specify direct design‑sourced products, and develop high‑quality tech packs in partnership with Design, Buying, and Technology teams.
  • Apply strong design and CAD skills with excellent attention to detail to translate trends into commercially successful products.
  • Maintain excellent communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills to work collaboratively across teams and supplier partners.
  • Manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to change, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment while delivering to critical‑path deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven design experience within a retail or fashion environment, ideally with knowledge of denim and casualwear wash development.
  • Strong design and CAD skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to translate trends into commercially successful products.
  • Experience creating design briefs, specifying direct design‑sourced products, and developing high‑quality tech packs in partnership with Design, Buying, and Technology teams.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and supplier partners.
  • Dynamic, agile, and innovative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to change, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, delivering to critical‑path deadlines.
