General Factory Operative Blue Days

Role Description

• The person will form part of a team, having a responsibility for the delivery of planned production through production/packing line.
• The key challenges faced will be to ensure process safety, the materials supply, changeovers, line faults and breakdowns, do not impact on overall line performance (OEE).
• Focus will be always required to achieve measurable targets and KPI’s (OEE, UL, RFT).
• To achieve Skilled Grade, the person will be expected to be able to carry out 2 or more functional areas of job operations for a specific department and demonstrate the behaviours and skills outlined in the competency matrix.

Role Requirements

• Experience within a food-processing environment and understanding of hygiene standards would be desirable but not essential.
• Competent numeracy/literacy skills.
