Support Workers

Job Overview

We are expanding our services in Uckfield and are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care to a young adult male with clinical needs. This rewarding role involves supporting him at home and in the community, helping him live as independently as possible while promoting dignity, wellbeing, and choice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily routines and personal care.
• Support social and community activities.
• Deliver clinical interventions, including medication administration.
• Provide reassurance and companionship, including during evening and night shifts.
• Maintain the service user’s right to privacy and dignity.
• Move and handle the user safely.
• Work independently, without direct supervision, in the user’s home.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months care experience.
• Confident in administering medication and providing personal care.
• Proficient in moving and handling techniques.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Valid UK driver’s licence.
• Reliable, caring, and motivated.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional, discreet approach.
