Guest Service Assistant

Our Guest Service Assistants are responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to our guests. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with check‑in and check‑out, handling inquiries and complaints, booking reservations, providing information about local attractions, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

You’ll be required to remain calm and professional in high‑pressure situations to ensure guests have a positive experience and feel welcomed and valued during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide excellent service at the front desk.
• Assist with check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints.
• Book reservations and provide information about local attractions.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
• Support colleagues across all areas of the business to ensure a first‑class guest experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills; ability to manage guest reservations and ensure smooth operations at the front desk.
• Detail‑oriented; ensures all guest information is accurate and bookings are processed efficiently.
• Basic computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and internet use.
• Experience with hotel management software such as Opera or Fidelio is an advantage.
• Passion for providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.
