Responsibilities
- Operate an HGV to collect refuse/recycling from scheduled locations, following a set route and depositing at appropriate sites.
- Carry out vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements, and complete required paperwork.
- Work as part of a team, follow instructions from supervisors, communicate with crew members, and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain positive relationships with the public, customers, and client representatives, dealing courteously with complaints and queries.
- Assist with loading duties as required.
Qualifications
- Full Category C driving licence.
- Basic literacy skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate a positive approach aligned with company values.
- Customer‑care experience is an advantage.
