Driver/Loader

Responsibilities

• Operate an HGV to collect refuse/recycling from scheduled locations, following a set route and depositing at appropriate sites.
• Carry out vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements, and complete required paperwork.
• Work as part of a team, follow instructions from supervisors, communicate with crew members, and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain positive relationships with the public, customers, and client representatives, dealing courteously with complaints and queries.
• Assist with loading duties as required.

Qualifications

• Full Category C driving licence.
• Basic literacy skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate a positive approach aligned with company values.
• Customer‑care experience is an advantage.
