Refuse HGV Driver Loader

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV refuse collection vehicles and load refuse, recycling, garden, food waste, and sacks onto lorry.
• Prioritise health, safety, and excellent customer care at all times.
• Act as chargehand for your round, taking accountability for the vehicle and crew each day.
• Assist with in‑cab technology, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all route information.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Hold a full UK Driver’s License, an LGV Class 2 Category C licence and a valid driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Be reliable, enjoy working as part of a team, have a keen awareness of health and safety and be willing to undertake physical work in all weather conditions.

Salary & Hours

Salary: £34,094 – £37,225 per annum. Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days (Tuesday – Friday). Contract: Permanent.
