Despatch Multi-Skill Loader – Nights

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Loader to join our team, based at our Manton Wood manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Warehouse Loading Area.
• Ensure that all activities are conducted in line with Safe System of Work.
• Listen to daily briefs with management and staff.
• Check off outbound HGVs and keep to an outbound schedule.
• Maintain PPT checks, perform reach truck duties, key control, bay control, keep warehouse tidy, and manage pallets outbound/inbound.
• When not loading HGVs, work with the product picking team.
• Receive and check incoming pick tickets.
• Locate products using technology.
• Retrieve orders according to quantity and ensure accuracy.
• Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks.
• Wrap orders before loading on trucks.
• Keep records of completed orders.
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions.
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Credible experience of working in a busy warehouse or transport operation.
• Good attention to detail and demonstrable self-discipline to manage work tasks with minimum supervision, whilst being held duty accountable.
• PPT certified (preferred).
• Able to read and write in English.
• Diligent and punctual.
• Good physical strength and stamina.
