Production Planner / Customer Services Representative

Role Summary: This role involves managing a portfolio of customer accounts and working closely with Production and Sales teams to translate customer demands into viable production plans, ensuring adherence to weekly plans and prioritizing where necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with Production and Sales teams to translate customer demands into viable production plans.
  • Implement planning functions and monitor adherence to weekly plans via daily production meetings.
  • Set priorities and make efficient use of capacity and resources.
  • Work alongside colleagues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a planning or customer services role.
  • English language and mathematics qualifications.
  • Good analytical and computing skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages.
  • Methodical and meticulous working manner.
  • Strong communication skills at all business levels.
  • Self‑motivated, strong team player, flexible, able to juggle priorities and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills.

Work Hours: Day shift pattern (40 hours), Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm with ½ hour unpaid meal break.

Reporting: Reporting directly to Lloyd Parfitt, Commercial Manager.
