Primary Schools across Haringey, North London are recruiting proactive and compassionate Learning Support Assistant staff to support pupils with SEND on a daily supply and short-term basis.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils requiring additional support, including children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural needs. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be adaptable, patient, and confident supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 support
- Supporting pupils with SEND needs
- Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour
- Supporting classroom learning
- Working alongside teachers and SENCOs
- Encouraging pupil engagement and independence
This role offers flexible working opportunities with the possibility of moving into long-term placements.
Psychology graduates and candidates with SEN experience are encouraged.
Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the updated service or be willing through us.
