Technical Learning Support Assistant in Construction and Engineering

Location: Lancaster

Salary: £24,932 per annum, pro rata.

Hours: Part time, up to 30 hours per week, term-time only.

Responsibilities

• Support students with additional learning needs in both practical workshops and classroom sessions.
• Help learners build practical skills, promote safe working practices, contribute to session planning, and monitor and record their progress.

Qualifications

• Practical construction or engineering experience.
• Relevant vocational qualification.
• Strong communication, organisational, flexible and empathetic approach.
• Experience relating to young people and supporting individual learning needs.
• Additional SEND-related or Health & Safety qualifications are an advantage.
