An opportunity has arisen due to illness that I am seeking someone to help a fun loving lady living with MS, wheelchair and stand air user, very active with horseracing, dog walking, social activities & charity work.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support for a wheelchair and stand air user;
• Assist with mobility and handling tasks;
• Support daily activities including dog walking, social events and charity work;
• Assist with medication reminders and health monitoring;
• Maintain a supportive and humorous environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Reliable, trustworthy, with a good sense of humour;
• Clean driving licence (mandatory);
• Prior care experience is an advantage but not essential – training in moving & handling will be provided;
• Ability to work flexible hours during weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) starting at 9am.

Terms

• Hours: up to 22 hours per week
• Working Pattern: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Rate of Pay: £14.85 per hour
• Holiday Entitlement: 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
• Probationary Period: 6 months
• Appointment: Subject to satisfactory references and PVG / Disclosure Scotland check
