Warehouse Assistant

We are Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group – a leading specialist trade merchant across the UK and Ireland, and we pride ourselves in putting our people and customers at the heart of everything we do.

As a Warehouse Assistant based in Bristol you will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including picking and packing stock (with some heavy lifting), loading/unloading vehicles safely, ensuring the workplace is tidy, and adhering to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• General warehouse duties
• Picking and packing stock, involving some heavy lifting
• Loading/unloading vehicles safely
• Maintaining workplace cleanliness and health and safety compliance
• Act as a relief driver, driving a 3.5t van to deliver products to customers and building sites

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment
• Experience within industry or with trade is advantageous
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn, including completion of necessary training
• Clean driving licence (preferred)

Full‑time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 08:00‑17:00 or 07:00‑16:00 with a 1‑hour break. No weekend work required.
