Key Responsibilities
- Run school-based immunisation clinics, manage class lists, organise pupils and keep operations on track.
- Handle administrative duties: answer phones, send appointment reminders, and chase consent forms.
- Support the team with stock ordering, equipment checks and maintaining administrative systems.
- Communicate with schools and parents to confirm clinic dates and provide information.
- Enter accurate data and keep the admin systems up to date, allowing the clinical team to focus on patient care.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Confidence on the phone, able to speak to a range of people from school staff to concerned parents.
- Calm under pressure and able to keep operations moving in lively, sometimes noisy, environments.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and manage own tasks.
- Basic IT skills, comfortable learning new systems.
- Flexible and willing to travel across the borough for school and clinic visits.
- Good general education; NVQ Level 2 or equivalent GCSE grade 4/C in Maths and English.
- Previous experience of effective team working.
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Demonstrable experience with computerised data systems or electronic clinical records.
- Prior work experience in a health care setting.

- IT skills: Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills.
- High numeracy and literacy levels.

- Willingness to extend knowledge through training and place‑based learning.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data security requirements.
