Evening Hygiene Operative

Our Manton Wood site offers facilities such as gym, restaurant, and staff shop.

What you will be doing

• Carry out all hygiene tasks required by the hygiene rota in each respective area.
• Prepare and be responsible for any cleaning equipment used to carry out hygiene duties.
• Maintain, replenish and be accountable for stocks of cleaning materials.
• Be fully conversant with the operation and care of mechanical cleaning equipment used in conjunction with hygiene duties.
• Handle safe preparation, handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants.
• Comply with MCA and FDA requirements for Good Manufacturing Practice and hygiene standards.
• Carry out hygiene tasks in accordance with written approved procedures, ensuring all logbook entries are completed.
• Ensure all areas are kept clean and free of debris.
• Clean and re-assemble removable parts of machinery and depositors where required.

What we’re looking for

• Good attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Good communication skills; ability to work with Hygiene Operatives, Steam Clean Operatives and other Strip Down Operatives.
• Maths (Entry Level 3 and above) and English (Entry Level 3 and above).
• All round cleaning experience.
• Ability to work on own initiative and manage own time.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and management team.
• Knowledge of H&S and CoSHH.

Rate of Pay – £13.36 per hour (full time). Overtime paid at x1.25 after 48 hours.

Shift pattern – Thursday to Monday (Thur, Fri, Sun, Mon 13:00-18:00; Sat 08:30-18:00).
