HGV Class 1 Drivers

Job Overview

Consortio Recruitment Group are looking for HGV 1 Drivers in Newbury/Thatcham. Drivers must be professional at all times and demonstrate a high level of driving skills. Customer service skills are important, as some of our jobs involve customer interaction.

Responsibilities

Drivers will handle various freight types and deliver goods efficiently and safely, ensuring adherence to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Full Valid UK Licence
• Valid CPC and DT card
• No more than 6 points on licence
• At least a year of driving experience
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• Good Customer Skills
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Driving: 2 years (Required)
• Heavy Goods Vehicle Drivers: 1 year (Required)
• Driver CPC (Required)

• Store Deliveries (includes manual handling)
• Trunking
• Multi-drop

Schedule

10 hour shift, 12 hour shift, day shift, night shift, Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday options, early and late starts.
