Working Hours
Day shifts – 9am to 4:30pm (37.5 hours per week). On-call 1 in 3 weekends.
You must live in or very close to the relevant postcodes (ML, G, PA, FK, EH).
Key Responsibilities
As a Field Officer, you will travel to clients’ homes to install electronic monitoring equipment. You may work alone or with a Monitoring Support Officer, building trust and confidence with each individual and reassuring them, and the public, of safety. Your work supports the reduction of pressure on the prison system and enables ex-prisoners to reintegrate into their communities.
You will receive three weeks of training followed by ongoing mentorship. The role is varied and offers ample opportunities to help people during a difficult time in their lives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for a committed individual, regardless of prior experience. The following are required:
- Current valid UK driver’s licence
- Reasonably fit with good written and verbal communication skills
- BPSS & Standard DBS clearance (including identity verification, employment history checks, and a DBS check covering spent and unspent convictions)
- Completion of an Occupational Health Questionnaire to support your wellbeing
