Education Biology Lab Technician – Teaching Support

University of Sheffield – School of Biosciences is seeking a laboratory technician to support UG and PGT teaching laboratories. You will prepare media and materials, set up and maintain equipment, and assist with DNA extraction, PCR and gel electrophoresis, cell culture and developmental biology activities.

The role requires GCSE English/Maths or Level 2 qualification, and a commitment to safety, record-keeping and teamwork within a diverse technical staff.
