Location: Sheffield, S2Salary: £169.00 – £233.00 per dayStart date: September 2026Contract type: Temp – perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placementWorking hours: Monday – Friday, term time only, 08:00 – 16:00
You will plan, deliver, and mark coursework for Key Stage 3 and 4 students who are deemed vulnerable, at risk or have behavioral difficulties, in a specialist setting, with support from teaching assistants. You will also carry out all standard duties including parent evenings, internal and external meetings, etc.
The role starts in September 2026 and is full-time; after 12 successful weeks it could lead to permanent employment.

Essential Requirements For The Role
- PGCE in Secondary Music or Art
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous UK National Curriculum teaching experience for at least 6 months in the last 2 years
- Experience working in a Pupil Referral Unit or Young Offenders Institute would be beneficial, but not essential
- Ability to build rapport with learners from diverse backgrounds and with a range of needs
