Teacher of PE (Girls’ Games)

Overview

The role offers the opportunity to teach across all key stages and to contribute to both the sporting and personal development of pupils. We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of OCR GCSE Physical Education capable of delivering high-quality practical and theoretical lessons.

Responsibilities

• Teach OCR GCSE Physical Education across all key stages, delivering high-quality practical and theoretical lessons.
• Deliver engaging lessons and extracurricular opportunities in collaboration with the PE department and in a supportive team environment.
• Contribute to the management of the fixtures programme and other departmental administration as appropriate.
• Inspire pupils to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and a lifelong appreciation of physical activity and sport.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of managing a fixtures programme and contributing to departmental administration is welcomed; pastoral leadership experience would be an advantage.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and knowledge as a Teacher of OCR GCSE Physical Education with the ability to deliver both practical and theoretical instruction.

Working Environment

Work within a supportive department led by the Director of Sport, alongside a team of dedicated full-time and part-time PE teachers, collaborating to deliver engaging lessons and extracurricular opportunities.
