Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a supportive primary school?

The Supply Register is partnering with the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust to recruit a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant for Birley Spa Primary Academy, working within a Year 1 class from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils during a key stage of their learning while working as part of a welcoming and dedicated school team.

Your role will include:

• Supporting whole-class learning in a Year 1 classroom
• Leading small group and 1:1 interventions
• Assisting with planning and classroom delivery
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
• Helping maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement

Responsibilities

• Supporting whole-class learning in a Year 1 classroom

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting pupils in KS1
• Confidence working independently with groups and individuals
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• A proactive, reliable and committed approach
