Healthcare Assistants

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a young lady in her 20s living in Dudley.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, support clinical interventions, and encourage participation in meaningful activities promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
• Accompany the client on community outings in an adapted vehicle during weekends.
• Ensure a calm and comfortable transition to bedtime, maintaining a safe and reassuring environment.
• Provide personal, social, and domestic support without direct supervision, adhering to the individual care plan.
• Assist with medication, personal care, moving and handling, and maintain communication with the care team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 3 months of care experience.
• Confidence in supporting medication, personal care, and moving and handling.
• Clear communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence with confidence driving an adapted vehicle.
• Pet‑friendly environment with two dogs.
• Ability to work discreetly, respecting privacy and dignity.
• Commitment to person‑centred care and the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, Commitment.
