• Deliver engaging outdoor learning programmes including Forest School, horticulture and enrichment activities.
• Lead pupils toward recognised accreditations such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, John Muir Award and AQA Unit Awards.
• Plan and support educational visits, outdoor adventures and community‑based learning opportunities.
• Develop inspiring outdoor learning environments and horticulture projects that promote wellbeing, enterprise and preparation for adulthood.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging communication, confidence, resilience and independence.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health‑and‑safety and risk‑assessment to ensure activities are safe, enjoyable and accessible.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people with SEND, particularly autism.
• Experience delivering outdoor learning, enrichment or practical education activities.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health‑and‑safety and educational risk‑assessment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to motivate and inspire pupils.
• A flexible, positive and resilient approach with a commitment to inclusive education.
• Forest School experience (desirable).
• AQA Unit Awards (desirable).
• First Aid (desirable).
• Driving licence.
