Social Worker (level 2) | 10897 | permanent contract | 37 hours per week | £39,862 to £41,771 per annum | Grade J | King’s Lynn

We offer a £2000 welcome payment for qualified and experienced Social Workers (grade J and above), new to Norfolk County Council. Amount to be repaid in full should you leave within two years of employment.

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Social Worker to join our West Follow-On Team, based at Priory House in King’s Lynn. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting people following discharge from hospital, whether they are returning home or moving into care placements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload.
  • Undertake Care Act assessments.
  • Complete Mental Capacity assessments.
  • Lead Section 42 safeguarding enquiries.
  • Make confident decision-making, strong partnership working and implement a person-centred approach.

Qualifications

  • You must be registered with Social Work England as a practising Social Worker.
