Lead Technician

The Patch Boys of Ann Arbor and Novi is seeking a full-time multi-skilled lead drywall repair technician. The role involves managing a team of technicians and performing repair, patching, and finishing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the schedules and work output of multiple technicians
• Communicate effectively with the technicians to provide clear guidance
• Respond quickly and positively to management and customers
• Texture and refinish plaster services
• Work on new walls and ceilings, and repair existing walls
• Determine and identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects
• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot issues, and present a work order to a customer
• Fit and fasten wallboard or sheetrock into specified position
• Measure and mark cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trim
• Install insulation between studs and attach a plastic moisture barrier over installation
• Remove plaster, drywall or paneling
• Use basic mobile technology tools such as Gmail, text messaging, and company‑provided CRM application (training provided for CRM)

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and lead others by example
• Own a smartphone with a data plan
• Basic knowledge of mobile technology such as Gmail, text messaging
• Own all tools needed for drywall repair
• Have a vehicle in good running condition
• Task-oriented
• Ability to organize and maintain a weekly work schedule

Pay: $25-$30/hrCompensation: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
