Teaching Assistants – First Federation Trust

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the class teacher across all areas of the curriculum.
• Deliver targeted interventions.
• Promote inclusion by developing social skills, language, and emotional well‑being.
• Work under the direction of the class teacher and liaise with other professionals both within and outside the school.
• Show a high degree of initiative and react to situations with integrity and compassion.
• Provide some one‑to‑one or small group support for SEND pupils.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions (No sponsorship or visa support).
• Ability to provide proof of Right to Work at the interview stage.
• Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people.
• Availability for an enhanced DBS disclosure and an online search.
• Must not have applied through a recruitment agency.

Interviews will take place on the 20th July 2026.
