I am recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced Electrical Technician to join their expanding manufacturing team in Poole.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Technician who enjoys building, wiring and testing bespoke machinery within a clean, modern manufacturing environment. Working alongside skilled Mechanical, Test and Quality teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality products that meet exacting customer standards.
The role As an Electrical Technician, you will:
- Assemble and wire electrical systems using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
- Build and install electrical control panels into bespoke machinery.
- Carry out electrical testing, inspections and safety checks throughout the build process.
- Complete build documentation and test records accurately.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to achieve right-first-time builds.
What I’m looking for
- A completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience.
- At least two years’ experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring or electro-mechanical build.
- The ability to confidently interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams and wiring schematics.
- Experience carrying out electrical testing and fault diagnosis.
- IPC certification would be advantageous.
