Class 1 ADR driver

Responsibilities

• Collect hazardous and non‑hazardous waste in a Class1 curtain‑sided vehicle.
• Perform daily heavy lifting, up to 25kg for drum collection.
• Spend nights in a sleeper cab from Monday to Friday.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork related to waste collection.

Qualifications

• HGV Class1 Driver licence (clean licence required).
• ADR Licence is an advantage; training will be provided.
• CPC qualification.
• Relevant driving experience and possession of a Digi‑card.
• Strong driving record and excellent driving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• High written and mathematical competence for paperwork.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Salary

£38,000 starting salary, increased to £40,000 after successful completion of the probation period. Further salary increases to be considered after one year of service.

Employment

Full Time (Monday to Friday). Up to 48 hours per week (working to EU driving regulations).
