PA to Provide Support for Older Lady in Dereham. Flexible 6hrs weekly at £12.89 per hour.

To provide general support for older lady, enabling her to remain independent.

Job Details

As a lady of advanced years who has always been independent I am now seeking to employ a personal assistant to keep me company, perform some domestic duties such as vacuuming and bed making and assist me to get to appointments and social activities. Although I enjoy home cooked meals I no longer cook a great deal but might like someone to take me out for tea and cake occasionally, perhaps visiting a garden centre. I do not require any personal care.

Summary terms and conditions

• The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour plus mileage.
• Hours of work: a total of 6 hours per week to be worked on a flexible basis, depending on appointments and activities which can be discussed at interview.
• 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
• Free training as appropriate for role.

Post conditions

• A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
• Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
• Candidate must ensure that they have appropriate class of use on their motor insurance policy.
• Full UK driving license and own personal car.
