Job Summary
A warm, relaxed and music-loving family in rural Hassocks, near Burgess Hill, is looking for an energetic, flexible and fun Norland Nanny (or equivalent) to support their family on an ad‑hoc basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nanny looking to build a genuine long‑term relationship with a family keen to find someone they can rely on for years to come.
Responsibilities
- Support two 3‑year‑old twins who attend a local forest school during term time, encouraging confidence, independence and self‑belief through play, outdoor adventures and engaging activities.
- Incorporate music, singing and creativity into the children’s day‑to‑day experiences, reflecting the family’s love of music.
- Prepare nutritious home‑cooked meals, manage the children’s laundry, and keep daily routines running smoothly.
- Provide flexible support on weekdays and weekends as required, working closely with the family on an ongoing basis.
- Participate in outdoor activities and foster an active lifestyle for the twins.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nanny experience in a home setting.
- Norland Nanny or equivalent certification.
- Valid 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Clean driving licence and willingness to drive as needed.
- Love of the outdoors and a calm, reassuring presence.
