We are seeking a Senior Partner Account Manager to lead go‑to‑market strategy with our Global Defense Partners (GDP) in the public sector. The role is based in the UK and focuses on EMEA and APJ regions, driving joint sales campaigns for AWS Worldwide Public Sector and laying the groundwork for the upcoming AWS European Sovereign Cloud.Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth in government, health care, and education sectors.Build and nurture high‑level relationships with GDP partners and AWS executives.Collaborate with AWS account executives, solution architects, industry experts, partner marketing and other teams to develop and execute joint partner sales plans.Lead joint sales campaigns, business reviews, and executive sponsorship activities.Create stakeholder alignment and maintain regular interlock cadence with key sales teams.Use AWS mechanisms to achieve sales results, iterate improvements and deliver outcomes in a start‑up style environment.Qualifications

5+ years sales or sales management experience in infrastructure or cloud technology.Track record of successful large, complex deal negotiations and management of enterprise accounts.Experience influencing innovation through partner ecosystems and developing detailed go‑to‑market plans.Ability to sell to C‑level executives in software, cloud or SaaS markets.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Equal Opportunity
